Helen Lawley (nee Simpson) Churchtown, Dublin / Elphin, Roscommon

Lawley, Helen (née Simpson) February 4 2019, Churchtown and formerly of Cherryfield, Elphin, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully while surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the staff in the Glenaulin Nursing Home. Predeceased by her loving husband David. Sadly missed by her children Mary, Aidan, Caitriona, Annemarie and David sons-in-law, daughters-in-law Joe, Toni, Donny and Karen, grandchildren Kevin, Michelle, Molly, Oísin, David, Saoirse, Darragh and Eoin, her sister Peggy, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown on Thursday February 7 at 10am followed by burial at Mount Venus Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Alzheimer Sociery of Ireland.

Sr. Romana (Mary) McDwyer, Marist Convent, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim / Sooey, Sligo

Sr. Romana McDwyer, (Mary), Marist Convent, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co.Leitrim and late of Sooey, Co.Sligo. Monday 4th February 2019 peacefully at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle surrounded by her family and her Marist sisters. Predeceased by her beloved sister Anna Devaney (Manorhamilton). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers Oliver (Dublin), Joe (Gorey), Ray (Galway), and John (Carrick-on-Shannon), brother-in-law Seamus Devaney, sisters-in-law Brenda, Mary and Josephine, nieces, nephews, her Marist Community, relatives and friends.

Removal on Thursday morning to St. Mary's Church, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the Convent Cemetery. Marist Convent private on Thursday morning please.

Mary Raftery (née Gallogly) Beechwood Park, Mallow, Cork / Leitrim

Raftery (Mallow and Leitrim) on February 4 2019, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Churchtown, Mary, Beechwood Park, Mallow and formerly of Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, beloved wife of the late Paddy and dear mother of John, Kevin, Brendan and Kieran. Sadly missed by her loving sons, brothers, sisters, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Funeral Arrangements Later

Anne Sinnott (née Murphy), Tubrid Cross, Ardfert, Kerry / Swanlinbar, Cavan

Anne Sinnott (nee Murphy) Tubrid Cross, Ardfert, Co. Kerry and formerly of Drumcask, Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan and Wembley, Middlesex, UK. On February 5th, 2019, Anne peacefully passed away in the wonderful care of the staff at The Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Brendan and dear mother of Michelle, Darren, Jason, Lorraine, Simon, Karen and Linda and sister of Mary, Carmel, Michael, Aidan and the late John Joe, Paul and Dymphna. Sadly missed by her loving family, her 18 grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

Reposing at The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Thursday from 4-6pm. Removal at 6pm to St. Brendan’s Church, Ardfert. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am. Interment afterwards in The Abbey New Cemetery, Ardfert. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. or care of The Gleasure Funeral Home. House private please.

James (Jimmy) Flanagan, Lucan, Dublin / Garrison, Fermanagh

FLANAGAN (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Garrison, Co. Fermanagh) February 5th2019 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Lucan Lodge Nursing Home and surrounded by his family. James (Jimmy), beloved husband of Carmel, dear father of Gertrude, John and Aiden, devoted grandfather of Laura, Emma, Alan, Rebecca, Cian, Darragh and Caoimhe and brother of the late Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Jacqueline and Olive, son-in-law Dave, brothers John, Patrick, Roger and Bernard, sisters Teresa and Betty, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his son John’s residence on Thursday evening from 4-8pm. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Esker on Friday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Kidney Association.

Mary Kate Ruzicka Anders (née McManus), Clonliff Macken, Kinawley, Fermanagh

Ruzicka Anders, (nee McManus) Clonliff, Macken, Enniskillen. Mary Kate died at 2pm peacefully on 5 February with family members around her. She was the daughter of Patrick and Celia McManus and a loving sister to Patrick, Terence, Celia, Thomas and Arthur who died before her and to her sister Alice (Alabama) and brothers, Fr. Jim (Perth Scotland), Frank (Enniskillen), Fr. Sean (Washington) and Myles (London). She was the Matron of the family and will be missed by her brothers and sister and her many nieces and nephews and their families. Her husband Milan was from the Czech Republic and they lived in New Zealand for many years. He died in New Zealand. Reposing at her late residence until removal Thursday, February 7  at 6 pm to arrive in St Naile's Church, Kinawley for 7pm. Her funeral will take place in Kinawley Parish Church on Friday, 8 February, at 10am.

Alice O'Reilly (née Leathem), Breandrum, Kilmore Lower, Cavan / Carrigallen, Leitrim

Alice O’Reilly, (nee Leathem), Breandrum, Kilmore Lr., Cavan and formerly Breaghmore, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim. Sister of the late Mary Mc Elroy, U.S.A, John and Rose. Thursday February 7th 2019 peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff at College View Nursing Home, Cavan. Beloved wife of the late Charlie O’Reilly and devoted mother of Catriona, Patricia and Pauric. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Elaine, Catriona’s partner Charlie O’Donoghue and their daughter Cass, sisters Susan O’Connor, Wicklow, Kathleen McKenna, U.S.A., Phyllis, Holloway, U.K. and Bridget, Kildare, brothers Pat U.S.A., Gerry U.K., Seamus, Killyvalley, Gene U.S.A., Aidan Australia, sisters-in-law Sr. Magdalene, Kathleen, Fran and Nancy Browne, U.S.A., nephews, nieces, cousins all her relatives and many friends.
