Fenagh St Caillins & St Mary's Kiltoghert; Allen Gaels & Aughavas and Kiltubrid & Eslin will contest the Leitrim All County League Finals next weekend after a dramatic final round of games that ended with delight and heartbreak in equal measure on the Friday of the August Bank Holiday weekend.
A brilliant solo Oisin McLoughlin goal nine minutes from time was the decisive score that saw Fenagh St Caillins claim top spot in Division 1, beating Leitrim Gaels 1-15 to 1-13 in a winner takes all encounter. Stephen Goldrick's goal from a tap in three minutes earlier had put the home side in the final temporarily but in a fractious and testy affair, Fenagh finished strong to finish top of the table.
The sides were level at 0-7 apiece at halftime, the Gaels having taken a four point lead at one stage. It remained tit for tat in the second half before the drama of the double goal blast while the game ended on a sour note with a bout of shoving and pushing breaking out that ended with referee Mark McCloskey brandishing a rake of yellow cards that included a second yellow for Conal Jones to end his evening early.
St Mary's Kiltoghert secured a place in the final, equal on points with Fenagh but with a lesser scoring difference, after they came from a one point deficit at halftime to beat Glencar Manorhamilton 0-17 to 0-14, a defeat that consigns the north Leitrim side to Division 2 football in 2026.
They will be joined by neighbours Melvin Gaels who suffered a 2-14 to 1-9 defeat at the hands of Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins in Melvin Park on Friday evening. Aughawillan, who would have had the superior scoring difference over the north Leitrim duo, ensured their Division 1 survival with a 2-10 to 1-13 draw against Mohill at home.

In Division 2, Allen Gaels maintained their 100% winning record with a 1-20 to 1-7 victory away to Aughavas, a team they will meet again in the Final despite Annaduff finishing on the same points and with a better scoring difference after their 2-21 to 3-13 victory over Gortletteragh thanks to the head to head rule, Aughavas winning their round three meeting by a solitary point.
Despite their defeat, Gortletteragh survived in Division 2 with Ballinaglera and Carrigallen making the drop to Division 3 for 2026. Carrigallen lost 1-16 to 1-13 against St Patrick's Dromahair while Ballinaglera finished level on six points with Drumkeerin, Gortletteragh and Dromahair but lost out on scoring difference. Drumkeerin effectively relegated their neighbours thanks to their 2-11 to 1-9 victory over Ballinaglera.
In Division 3, Kiltubrid scorched their way to the Finals thanks to a 3-15 to 1-9 victory over Bornacoola where they will be joined by Eslin who had an incredibly high scoring draw with Drumreilly, 3-18 to 4-15. That left them level on points with Aughnasheelin but Eslin had the head to head result to win promotion.
Fixtures for the League Finals will be announced by the Leitrim CCC over the coming days with the Club Championships due to start the following weekend.
