Leitrim footballers will face Louth in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada in round 2 of the All-Ireland Football Championship Qualifiers on the weekend of June 23/24, after the draw was made live on RTE Radio on Monday morning.

The two counties clashed at the same stage of the Qualifiers in Drogheda with the home county running out 1-15 to 0-11 winners in a game that was much tighter than the scoreline suggests.

Louth overcame a battling London on Sunday in a high scoring encounter in Ruislip, 2-26 to 1-19, to book their place in Monday's draw and they will relish their visit to Carrick-on-Shannon for the second round.

Leitrim, however, will also be more than happy with the draw, having defeated the Wee County side in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada in March 2016 during the Louth team's march to promotion.
