UPDATE: Frank Feighan leads Sligo tallies as boxes are 99% completed

GE2024: Leitrim Observer will be bringing live coverage of the General Election count from the Clayton Hotel, Sligo.

UPDATE: Eamon Scanlon leading as Sligo boxes almost fully tallied

99% of Sligo boxes have been tallied and Frank Feighan of Fine Gael is in the lead with 5,335 votes at 16%.

Eamon Scanlon (FF) is closely following with 5,332 votes.

Scanlon could regain his seat which he lost in 2020.

Frank Feighan (FG) and Martin Kenny (SF) are well positioned to retain their seats.

Chris MacManus is polling well at 12%, and time will tell if there could be two Sinn Féin seats in this constituency.

Michael Clarke (II) polling steady also at 15%.

Marian Harkin (IND) stays at seven percent, but is likely to pick up transfers along the way.

Clarke - 15%

Scanlon - 15%

Feighan - 16%

MacManus - 12%

Harkin - 7%

Cosgrove - 5%

Kenny - 5%
