NFTE Regional Finals
15 Transition Year students accompanied by Ms Gallagher travelled to the Innovation Centre in ATU Sligo last Wednesday to take part in the NFTE regional Finals.
The school was represented by 4 groups “IClean” Niamh Torsney, Emma Doherty, Aimee Harkin and Peter Cogan, “A Wipe for Life” Aoife McGovern, Abby McPartlin, Aoibh Treanor and Sophie Dalton, “Hydrolarms” Conor Gibney, Erin Chesterand Fergus O’Conaill and “HairBraiders” Lauren Devaney, Sarah McGagh, Elsie Moffitt and Ciara Nolan.
Hyrdolarms and Hairbraiders progress to the All Ireland Semi Finals of the Competition in April.
Ms Gallagher would like to thank the parents for their support in helping prepare the students for this event and to Sandra Dooley the Regional officer for Foroige NFTE programme.

European Money Quiz
Congratulations to all the Junior Cycle Business studies students who took part in the European Money quiz this week. Organised by Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI), playing in teams of two, students across Ireland competed directly against each other in real time using the Kahoot! learning platform.
Thank you to MS Sweeney, Ms Carty and Mr Ward for organising and supervising the event.
