Drumcoura City reopens under new management

Drumcoura City Saloon Bar and Restaurant near Ballinamore.

Drumcoura City Saloon Bar and Restaurant has re-opened its doors under new management this March with one of our own lovely Leitrim ladies, Patrice Archer.

Patrice is a multi award-winning chef and has applied her years of experience to make an entirely new menu that will cater for all tastes.

Patrice Archer, multi award-winning chef.

She has taken the reins as both Head Chef and Manager to produce top quality food made in-house from locally sourced, fresh ingredients. This beautifully finished food comes at a reasonable price and is served in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The new menu includes some of your favourite classics like steaks, spicey wings and home-made burgers but also has exciting new dishes to perk your interest. There is an all new carvery every Sunday from 12.00 to 7.00pm.

Patrice hopes to make the Drumcoura Bar and Restaurant one of the top destinations for both locals and tourists in Co. Leitrim by leaning on its unique American western style and hosting live music along with seasonal fairs like their Easter Egg hunt this Easter Sunday and a Christmas fair.

She further plans on offering hen and wedding packages. With its function room seating over 100 guests, its great outdoor decking area and marquee, its potential for BBQs in the Summer and cosy meals in the Winter, it’s a great venue for all occasions.

Patrice has been overwhelmed by the support of the many local businesses and friends in the town of Ballinamore and surrounding areas and would like to thank Robert Richardson’s Butchers, The poor Scholar, Jackie’s Lakeland bar and the Commercial Hotel in particular, saying, "None of this would have been possible without local support and my amazing family and friends."

The Saloon is open 7 days a week with food from Wednesday to Sunday, to get booked in you can call 0719645312 or email info@drumcouracity.com
