Easter Prayer Service
We gathered as a school community, as is tradition to take a moment for reflection and prayer on Thursday morning. Ms Beirne and Ms McCabe led the reflection aided by students from across the years. Sr Ann from the Marist Sisters spoke to the students about her experiences and prayers. Students were presented with a candle which they could bring home and light as a symbol of hope, inspiration and reflection. Many thanks to those who helped to make this possible.
LC Orals
Best wishes to our students sitting their oral exams over Easter.

Work Experience Report by James O’Neill
I completed my work experience with ‘Music Generation’, which is all over Ireland, but my work experience was only down the road in Boyle. This organization is funded by U2, and it aims to help young people learn and play music live.
For my first day I set up a drum kit and watched the tutors teach music. On the second day I helped with music and on St Patrick's Day we performed a live gig on the streets of Boyle.
We did covers of ‘Zombie’ by the Cranberries, ‘Mandika’ by Sinead O’Conner, ‘Summerfly’ by Maura O’Connell and some others.
I really enjoyed my time in ‘Music Generation’ and feel the skills I have learned and the experiences I have had will help me moving into the future.
