Leitrim's Maurice Lennon receives his award from TG4
Gradam Ceoil TG4 was live from University Concert Hall in Limerick on Sunday night last. The award for Composer went to Leitrim man Maurice Lennon.
Maurice was presented his award by his uncle and former Gradam recipient Charlie Lennon. Charlie received the award in 2006 and Maurice’s father the late Ben Lennon received the Lifetime Achievement award in 2011.
Maurice’s award was created by sculpture John Coll. The awards ceremony can be viewed on the TG4 player here Gradam Ceoil TG4 2023
On the night Maurice was joined on stage by his brother Brian, his uncle Charlie, Ciara Brennan and Chris Dawson.
