Irish soprano Regina Nathan will perform An Evening of Song at the 2023 Allingham Festival on Saturday, November 11, at the Abbey Arts Centre in Ballyshannon. Music-lovers are encouraged to book early for this outstanding concert.
The popular soprano will perform an wide-ranging programme of songs by Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel, plus popular operatic arias and favourites from film and theatre. Accompanied by pianist Andrew Synnott, Regina Nathan’s honest, warm and authentic style creates a unique atmosphere and connection with her audience.
The 2023 Allingham Festival will take place in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal, from 8-12 November.
Headline events will include a conversation with best-selling domestic noir author Liz Nugent, a presentation by Children’s Ombudsman Niall Muldoon and a big-screen showing of the award-winning film The Deepest Breath plus an in-person Q&A session with executive producer Jaimie Lee D’Alton.
The Allingham Poetry and Flash Fiction Competitions are open for entries thru 22 September. Festival information is posted on-line at www.allinghamfestival.com.
