Sligo Park Hotel named ‘Best Contemporary Venue’ in 2023 Wedding Awards

The Sligo Park Hotel has scooped another accolade for its wedding offering, having won the Best Contemporary Venue award at the RSVP Wedding Awards 2023.

RSVP Judges impressed by the Sligo Park Hotel said the 136-bedroom hotel offered ‘sensational’ suites with state-of- the-art leisure facilities. 

The hotel’s manicured gardens provided ‘a spectacular backdrop for wedding photos’ alongside a stylish Italian-designed pergola where guests are greeted on arrival.

Sligo Park Hotel’s wedding suite caters for up to 220 guests in its contemporary, light-filled space. For a more intimate wedding, the Mespil Suite can cater for up to 80 guests.

The RSVP awards recognise excellence in the wedding industry among venues, suppliers and co-ordinators. They were judged by social media content creator Dominique Nugent, Aimee Connolly, make-up artist and creator of the brand ‘Sculpted by Aimee Connolly’; Áine Kenny, RSVP journalist and Mark Rodgers, a beauty contributor to RTÉ’s Today show.

The award comes after the Sligo Park Hotel was named in the Trip Advisor top 25 hotels in Ireland earlier this year.
