Rest In Peace

Mary McGowan, Kinlough, Co Leitrim
Mary McGowan (nee McGoey), No. 3 New Houses, Kinlough, Co Leitrim and formerly of Augharooskey, Kinlough, and Raspberry Hill, Ballintrillick, Co. Sligo on Tuesday, June 4th 2024, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Bernie (Bernard) McGowan, daughter of the late Matthew and Brigid McGoey and sister of the late Charles and Patrick. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephew, grandnieces, grandnephews and all her relatives, neighbours and close friends. May Mary Rest in Eternal Peace. Reposing at her late residence, No. 3 New Houses, Kinlough on Wednesday, 5th June, from 3pm to 6pm followed by removal to St. Aidan's Church, Kinlough to arrive for 7pm reception prayers. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday morning, 6th June, at 11am in St. Aidan's Church, burial afterwards in St. Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough.

Patrick McNulty, Drumsna, Co Leitrim
Patrick (Paddy/Pat) McNulty, Gort Lodge, Drumsna, Co. Leitrim passed away suddenly and peacefully at his residence, on Monday, 3rd June 2024, following a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Elizabeth. Deeply regretted by his dear friend Robin. Sadly missed by his sisters Mary (McKeon), Catherine (Moreton), brothers Michael, John and Larry, brothers-in-law Brian and Sean, sisters-in-law Geraldine, Teresa and Catherine. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends, especially his former colleagues and friends in Leitrim County Council. May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace Reposing at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna (N41 D766) on Thursday, 6th June from 5pm-8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday morning 7th June at 11am. Paddy will be laid to rest afterwards in Annaduff Cemetery (N41 CF54). 

Michael Mullane, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim
Michael Mullane, Autumn View, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim, formerly Rathmines, Dublin and Ballyagran, Co Limerick on Tuesday, 4th June 2024 (peacefully) at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Deeply missed by his loving daughter Karen, adored grandchildren Kevin, Sean and Martin, cousins Eily and Rose, his many friends and neighbours. Michael will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Thursday from 5pm until 6.30pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1pm.

Gerard Gill, Leitrim P.O., Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim
Gerard Gill, Ballinwing, Leitrim PO, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim on Sunday, 2nd June 2024 (suddenly). Pre-deceased by his mother Margaret. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving son Jason, father Padraig, brothers Joseph (Carrick-on-Shannon), Adrian (Ramelton, Donegal), sisters Christina (Manorhamilton), Bernie (Rossinver), Jason’s mother Margaret, sister-in-law Sinead, brothers-in-law Derek and Ray, niece Nyla, nephews Shane, Aaron, Jack, Lucas and Lee, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Leitrim Village on Friday evening arriving at 7 o’clock. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 12 o’clock with funeral afterwards to Kiltoghert Cemetery. House strictly private please.

Eamonn O'Grady, Drumkeerin, Co Leitrim / Belturbet, Co Cavan
The death has occurred of Eamonn O'Grady, 8 Sheena, Drumkeerin, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Ernehill, Belturbet, Co.Cavan, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Monday, 3rd June. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Carmel; daughters Colette (Noel) and Maeve (Gerry); sons Eamonn (Annette) and Stan (Mary); grandchildren Sean, Shannon, Aimee, Ellen, Eabha, Shane and Sophie; sister Eileen (Belturbet) and brother Standish (Galway); extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May Eamonn Rest in Peace. Reposing at the residence of his son and daughter-in-law Eamonn and Annette, Drumkeerin (Eircode N41 NR52) on Wednesday from 4.00pm until 9.00pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12.00pm in St. Brigid's Church, Drumkeerin followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private outside of reposing times, please.
