One Leitrim footballer got good wishes from one of Ireland's biggest Hollywood stars ahead of their All-Ireland clash with Tyrone this Sunday.
Actor Brendan Gleeson paid a visit to The Red Bank Restaurant to wish best of luck to staff member and Leitrim defender Edel Shanley before the TG4 All-Ireland LGFA Intermediate Championship Final this Sunday, August 4.

The restaurant shared a picture of the two on their social media with the caption "Brendan popped in to wish Edel & all involved with Leitrim Ladies GFA the best of luck on Sunday in the All Ireland Final".
Leitrim will face Tyrone with throw-in at 1.45pm in Croke Park this Bank Holiday Sunday. It is hoped there will be huge support from Leitrim in the ground but if you can't make it to GAA HQ, you can catch it live on TG4.
