McGuire’s Self Catering Irish Cottages in Drumshanbo has scooped the top spot in this year’s Winter Photo Competition, with a stunning snow-covered cottage scene now set to feature in the official Leitrim Tourism 2026 calendar.
The winning image — a serene blue-hour snapshot of the cottages blanketed in fresh snow — proved a major hit online, drawing nearly 500 likes and huge support from followers.
“We’re delighted to see our cottage winter wonderland picture getting into the Leitrim Tourism 2026 calendar,” the team said, thanking everyone who supported the entry throughout the year.
Leitrim Tourism extended warm congratulations to the Drumshanbo cottages, and also acknowledged the many photographers who submitted images showcasing the county’s beauty in every season.
The 2026 Leitrim Tourism calendar will be available from December and features a collection of striking landscapes captured across the county.
