Bench warrant executed as Mohill woman appears before District Court

Warrants against her in connection with seven theft charges

Three year ban for drunk and uninsured motorist who was driving erratically in Longford

Ann McDonagh (41), of 27 Treanmore, Mohill, Co Leitrim, appeared before the District Court this week after the court heard Gardaí had executed warrants against her in connection with seven theft charges. The court was told there was no objection to bail, and the judge granted Ms McDonagh bail on her own bond of €200, with no cash lodgement.

A number of conditions were imposed, including that Ms McDonagh not commit any offence and be of good behaviour, and that she remain available and contactable at all times, with her mobile number to be provided to Gardaí through her solicitor, Martin Burke.

In relation to the Longford matter, the judge imposed a further condition that Ms McDonagh stay out of Deals in Longford.
The Longford case was adjourned to January 27 at 10.30 am. The court also dealt with separate matters linked to other venues, with Ms McDonagh directed to attend Tullamore District Court on February 4, 2026, and Middleton District Court on February 12, 2026, with similar bail conditions applied. During the hearing, the judge confirmed the bail terms on the Longford matter, stating: “Own bond, 200 euro, no cash.”
