The Sligo-Leitrim road policing unit has clocked a driver travelling over double the legal speed limit.
The vehicle was caught traveling 113KPH in a 50 KPH zone before the driver was seen trying to overtake another road user on a junction, according to a Facebook post from An Garda Siochana.

A fixed charge penalty notice has been issued for speeding and driving without due care and attention. Three penalty points and €240 fines were issued, according to Gardaí.
