Drumshanbo sisters Helena and Carmel O'Rourke won the Best Wedding Florists at the Wedding Journal Online Readers Awards last week.
The awards are nominated and voted for by the public and La Belle Fleur pushed past four other finalists to take the award in Belfast last Thursday, June 16.
Announcing the news to their followers, La Belle Fleur said, “We're so delighted to be The Winner!”
“Thank you all so so so much for your votes, it's truly an honour to work with amazing couples, all our colleagues and friends in hotels and the wedding industry, and all the amazing customers over the last 16 years, we appreciate it so so much, we are truly grateful, heartfelt thanks to you all.”
La Belle Fleur also arrange flowers for the five star Inter Continental Hotel in Dublin, the ladies come up with creative and colourful flower arrangements that wow guests on arrival.
Carmel and Helena have won a number of Irish awards, chosen by judges and by the public.
The Drumshanbo business prides itself on good customer service and they work hard with customers to create their perfect arrangement.
McElhinnys, Donegal won the Mother of the Bride Supplier and Simones of Sligo were finalists in the Wedding Journal Online awards.
There are a large number of local nominees in the Mrs To Be Brides Choice Awards which will reveal its winners in August.
Clothes, cakes, wedding entertainment, accomodation and much more Leitrim wedding services have made it onto the awards nominees. Finalists will be announced on July 25, with winners revealed on August 3.
The awards provide a huge boost to businesses as they are a good guide to engaged couples picking out their wedding suppliers.
