Formerly of Liscarbin, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim. Reposing at his home today, Friday, from 5pm to 9pm. Removal on Saturday to St. Patrick’s Church, Dromahair for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in Carrowcrin Cemetery.
Jack Brady, Legga, Moyne, Longford
Jack Brady, Legga, Moyne, Co. Longford, Oct. 5th, 2026 at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Jack, beloved husband of the late Alice. Deeply regretted by his son Jackie, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Alice, Eimear and Andrew, relatives, neighbours and friends. Remains leaving the hospital today, Thursday, 5pm arriving at St. Mary's Church, Legga via Cavan at 6pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Friday, at 12 noon. Burial in Legga Cemetery.

Cecil (Sid) Kerins, 20 Knocklongford, Mohill, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Skerries, Co Dublin, peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Deeply regretted by his loving son Barry, partner Teresa, grandsons Kal and Dayle, relatives and many friends.Reposing at St Patrick's Hospital mortuary Carrick on Shannon this Saturday from 1pm to 3pm. Family time from 3pm, followed by removal to St Patrick's Church Mohill via Hyde Terrace for Funeral Mass at 4.30pm. Interment in the new cemetery, Mohill.

Angela Tymon (née Daly),Ashford, Monksland, Athlone, Roscommon / Arigna, Roscommon. Formerly of St. Ronan Park, Arigna, Co. Roscommon. (Unexpectedly at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe).
Predeceased by father Jimmy, sisters Mary Bernadette, Sheila and nephew Conor. Loving wife of PJ and adored mother of Duane, Jamie, Courtney,Clarise and Luke. Sadly missed by her family, her mother Kathleen, brothers Michael, Frank and Cathal, sisters Margaret, Mary, Kitty, Rita, Josephine and Dympna, in laws, aunt, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence on Friday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to SS Peter and Paul's Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Ronan's Cemetery, Taughmaconnell. House private on Saturday morning please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Portiuncula Hospital Fund.
Carmel Costello (née Gaffney), Ballyfarnon, Roscommon
Peacefully, surrounded by her devoted family and in the tender care of the staff of Oncology Unit, University Hospital, Sligo. Beloved mother of the late Cian. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Annie and brother John Francis. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Ben, brother Joseph, sister Goretti Conlon (Lanesboro), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her large circle of friends.
Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Friday evening from 6.00 o’clock until 9.00 o’clock and on Saturday evening from 4.00 o’clock until 7.30 o’clock. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyfarnon at 8.00 o’clock. Mass of Christian Burial on Sunday afternoon at 2.00 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Oncology Unit, University Hospital, Sligo. House private please.
Frances McDermott, Carkfree, Ballinameen, Boyle, Roscommon
Late of Kilcola, Croghan. At Sligo University Hospital and previously in the loving care of the staff at the Plunkett Home, Boyle. Wife of the late John, mother of the late baby John and baby Edward. Frances will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Una (McManus, Drumshanbo), Bernie (Healy, Moylough), Angela (Beirne, Boyle), Catherine (Beirne, Castleplunkett), Betty (Murphy, Lanesboro), sons Seamus (Croghan), Anthony (Castlebar), Francis (Elphin) and Padraig (Ballinameen), sister Sr. Angela, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Brady's Funeral Home, Elphin, Friday (7th Oct.) from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to St. Attracta's Church, Ballinameen. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Caldra Cemetery (via Oldtown).
