MS Leitrim Branch launch their new bus

The Multiple Sclerosis Leitrim Branch recently launched their new bus at the Lough Allen Hotel, Drumshanbo.

It was officially launched by Ms Carole Coleman and attended by many of the branch members.

This bus was funded by the many generous people through their donations and fundraising. The branch's largest fundraiser is the Annual Church Gate Collection and the MS Branch would like to thank the collectors for their help year in and year out, and the generous people who contribute to the collections.

The new bus is essential for the mobility of the wheelchair users and enables them to attend clinics and hospital appointments. The bus is also used to take members to the MS Therapy Centre in Sligo.

Carole stated this achievement was through the hard work of committee, members and the generosity of the general public.
She said small organisations that were dedicated and working together had raised a large amount of money to achieve their goal. She praised the local community for their generosity and commended the committee for their dedication and hard work.
