New York manager Justin O’Halloran has named the starting 15 that will go into battle with Leitrim on Sunday (7.15pm Irish time) and among those named in his team is former Leitrim player Enda Williams.
It was announced last November that Williams, who also played for Longford, would be training the exiles and was last week introduced as a half-time substitute in New York's impressive win over Corofin.
Other familiar names in the new York team include former Sligo goalkeeper Vinny Cadden, Mayo's Tom Cunniffe, Roscommon duo Neil Collins and Donal Ward and Armagh forward Jamie Clarke.
The New York team to face Leitrim is as follows: Vinny Cadden; Neil Collins, Donal Ward, Colin Keane; Enda Williams, Tom Cunniffe, Matthew Queenan; David Culhane, Shane Hogan; Tony Donnelly, Jamie Clarke, Luke Kelly; Kevin O’Grady, Dalton McDonagh, David Freeman.
