Boyle native Frankie Shanley, aka Frankie Beats, has proudly announced that his Breaking Music Show has been Shortlisted for the Mixcloud Radio Awards 2018 for the “Best Online Radio show in the World” (Pop Category)
This year the nominations were open to all FM stations that broadcast online and not just ones uploaded to Mixcloud so Frankie had some amazing competition. It is the biggest award a radio DJ can get.
Previous nominees have been Aviici, Carl Cox, Chicane, Solid Steel Radio, Paul Van Dyke, John Digweed, Marcus Shulz, Steve Aoki, Don Diablo, Alice in Wonderland and more.
He has trumped 2FM, BBC RADIO 1, KISSFM LA, Apple Beats 1 and all other stations that broadcast online.
In a message to his listeners, Frankie said, "Thank you all wherever you are for nominating me into the Final 5 for this amazing award and for making the last 6 years worth it. I spend almost 14 hours a day looking for the next big thing and have been first for new music before stations all over the world and sometimes even before Spotify."
