Warm in most places today, with spells of "hazy sunshine" according to Met Eireann, but cloudy periods too, with some showers developing, these in eastern coastal areas later this morning, but in other areas later this afternoon and evening, with a slight risk of thunder.
Top temperatures 20 to 23 C generally, but in the mid to high teens in some coastal areas, due to cloud or sea breezes.
Tonight will be mild and close under broken cloud and with remaining showers dying out. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 C. A few patches of mist or fog also, these mainly on northern coasts. Light northerly breezes at first, but these will freshen later in the night.
