The newly painted Sliabh an Iarainn Hotel on Ballinamore's Main Street
The town of Ballinamore has gone all American this weekend in celebration of Drumcoura's Cowboys and Heroes Festival taking place, but there is something new to keep an eye out for.
The old derelict Sliabh an Iarainn Hotel on Ballinamore's Main Street has been a thorn in the town's well kept appearance in years, but that problem has been erased with much hard work by Ballinamore Tidy Town Committee.
Volunteers have renovated the outside of the hotel which sits in the centre of town splashing it with red and white colour and lifting the streetscape.
Before and After
Americans flags adorn the town this weekend as locals kick on their cowboy boots and stetson hats for the nearby Cowboys and Heroes Festival.
The town is hoping to raise its profile this year and increase tourism, Ballinamore hosts The Connacht Fleadh in July and it's annual Family Festival in August.

Well done to all involved in promoting and presenting the town so well.
