There were “fantastic results” from Carrick-on-Shannon Community School.
Deputy Principal Paul Beirne said the results showcased the “hard work of students and teachers” and much appreciation should go to supporting parents.
109 pupils sat the exams in Carrick, 48 of those will now go into transition while the rest head into Leaving Cert years. Mr Beirne said they have seen first hand the benefits of TY and it helps students make greater choices in relation to subjects and career options.
