The following deaths have taken place.

Marie Burke, Boyle, Co. Roscommon

The death has occurred of Marie Burke (nee Scott), 23 Marian Road, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, peacefully, at her home on the Friday, 21st September 2018. Deeply regretted by her loving husband John, her children Ritchie (Ballinameen, Boyle) and Emma (McGuinn) Templemanor, Ballinacarrow, Co. Sligo, son-in-law Martin, her sister Edith and brothers Liam and Mattie.
Marie's remains will repose at her home from 4pm to 7pm on Monday, 24th September. (House private at all other times please). Arriving to St Joseph's Church, Boyle, for Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am with burial afterwards to Assylynn Cemetery, Boyle. Further enquiries to Higgins and Sons Funeral Directors Boyle and Ballinameen.

Nora McGovern, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan

Nora McGovern (née Dolan), Corracliffe, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, following a short illness, on Friday, 21st September, 2018. Survived by her husband Michael. Deeply regretted by her devoted family, her sons and daughters, John Martin (Marlbank, Florencecourt), Olivia Markey (Virginia), Michael Anthony, Ronan, Jeremiah (Virginia) and Bernadette Markey (Cootehill). Also sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of loyal neighbours and friends. R.I.P. Remains reposing at her son's residence (Michael Anthony) from 2-9pm on Sunday. Strictly private at all other times, please. Requiem Mass on Monday at St. Patrick's Church, Glangevlin at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Emily Tighe, Geevagh, Co. Sligo

Emily Tighe (née Conlisk), Ballinashee, Geevagh, Co. Sligo. Suddenly at her home. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy. Sadly missed by her loving sons Tony, Jimmy, Danny, John, Pat and Brendan, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters May and Annie, brother Michael, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours. Reposing at her home on Sunday afternoon from 2.00 o’clock until 8.00 o’clock and again on Monday from 2.00 o’clock until 6.30 o’clock. Removal St. Joseph’s Church, Geevagh, arriving 7.00 o’clock. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 11.00 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Corrig Cemetery.
