Fianna Fáil select new candidate for MEP race in the Midlands and North West

Fianna Fáil have selected Deputy Brendan Smith from Bawnboy, Co Cavan to run in the EU elections for the Midlands and North West Constituency.

Smith was selected on Friday and told his supporters, "‪Deeply honoured to have been selected to contest the upcoming European Election for the Midlands North West Constituency. Thank you most sincerely to all Fianna Fáil Party members who came out to vote for me and well done to each of the candidates.
