Thanks and farewell to Mary from North West Simon

Thanks and farewell to Mary from North West Simon

It was with a strong tinge of regret that North West Simon Community said “thanks and farewell” to Mary McKeon who is moving on to pastures new.
“Since 2009, Mary has done a tremendous amount of work in her role as Development Officer, to build our public profile, recruit volunteers and supporters, and generate the donations which enable our small organisation to survive each year,” the organisation said.
“We had a small socially distanced tea party among the Admin and Fundraising Bubble, to present Mary with some tokens of our appreciation.
“When the Covid-19 restrictions permit we will say a proper thank you to Mary and to Ann Dunne, and Michelle Lally who have also moved on during the pandemic.”
The staff of the Leitrim Observer would also like to wish Mary all the best for the future and to mark our appreciation for all the assistance she has provided.
