The Connacht record setting teams from Trident SC
Trident swim club's relay teams were on fire at the Gerry Ryan Gala in Limerick at the weekend claiming three new Connacht records.
The first record, the senior 4x 100m Freestyle, was claimed on Friday evening by Cormac Rynn, Eoghan Rynn, Clara Doherty and Grace Quinn. Conor Lanigan, Grace Quinn, Eoghan Rynn, and Molly Mulvey put together two great races in the 4 x 50m Freestyle and the 4 x 50m Medley relays to claim two Connacht junior records.
The 4x100m medley team of Joanna Peraguda, Clara Doherty, Conor Lanigan and Cormac Rynn took home the bronze medal.
Congratulations to Clara Doherty, Eoghan Rynn , Conor Lanigan and Cormac Rynn who won medals in individual events at the gala.
There was some great swimming from our younger swimmers who were stepping up to this level of competition. Well done to Eanna Kelly, Eoin Mahon, Alesha Ruddy, Daisy Mulvey and Donnacha Rynn.
