Church News:

Church of Mary, Mother of God, Newtownmanor - Liturgy for October: Reader - Seamus Storey; Collector(s) - Tommy McGourty and; Altar Society - Philomena Dolan and Margaret Banks.

Belated Congratulations:

Sincere congratulations to Natasha and Damien Comiskey on the recent birth (22-09-2016) of their baby daughter, Isla. Isla is a little sister to Shea and yet another very welcome addition to the Comiskey ‘Clan’; she is another grandchild to proud grandparents, Elizabeth and Michael Comiskey. Family, friends and neighbours in the Newtownmanor area wish Natasha, Damien, Shea and Isla health and happiness both now and into the future.


Jiving / Social Dancing:

Dancing classes have resumed in Newtownmanor Hall on Wednesday nights from 8.30 to 10.30p.m.  Learn to Jive / Waltz / Quick Step.  It can be great fun, not forgetting great exercise.  So come along for a most enjoyable evening class.  All enquiries to 086-825-2527.


Progressive 25 Card Game:

The Progressive 25 Card Game(s) in Newtownmanor Hall at 9pm every Friday until further notice. All card players are welcome and we look forward to new members coming along.


St Patrick's GAA Dromahair Memorial & Tribute Night:

This Friday, 14th October the GAA club is hosting a memorial mass (8pm in Dromahair) for all our deceased members, followed by a 'Tribute' evening (9pm) in the Blue Devon, in honour of some distinguished members who have passed away in recent years. We will remember what Vinny McKeon, John Madden, Eileen Torsney and Teddy O'Loughlin have done for our Club. Food and Scor entertainment will also be provided - Please attend this important event and spread the word. ALL are welcome


Spiritual Renewal:

Join us for:- Music, Song, Testimonies, Teachings and Discussions. In Clancy's,  Killeen,  Dromahair, Co Leitrim. Refreshments served. Every Friday evening from Friday 7th October To Friday 25th November 2016. Commencing 8pm. All Welcome.



Bingo continues, as usual, every Monday night in the function room of the Blue Devon, Dromahair at 9.00p.m. For those of you who are not regulars, it is a great social occasion, as well a fun opportunity to experience the thrill and frustration of getting / not getting the numbers you need!! All lines €30, except games 5 and 10, which are €50, all full houses €100 and last game €200. So why not come along and support your local bingo. Who knows you might be lucky.


Hall Booking(s):

Newtownmanor Hall is available for booking, by adult groups, wishing to organise an event or training. Hall costs are €15 per hour.
