Call for plaque with history of St Felim's College

Cllr Ita Reynolds Flynn, Cathaoirleach Cllr Justin Warnock, Minister Heather Humphreys T.D., Máirín Martin, Chairperson Ballinamore Area Community Council and Joseph Gilhooley, Chief Executive.

Cllr Caillian Ellis proposed that Ballinamore municipal district erect a plaque with the history of when 'The Junction' was a school in Ballinamore. 

The Junction Hub, formerly St. Felim’s College and Cavan Leitrim Railway Station, was officially opened by Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys last month.

Cllr Ellis said that It could perhaps explain a bit of the history of the area.

All members agreed with the motion.
