The Heritage Council is now accepting applications for its Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2025 from community and voluntary groups, as well as non-profit non-governmental organisations in Leitrim.
Previously, the scheme has supported the Claddagh Sheep Preservation Committee’s five-year plan for the preservation of Cladoir Sheep, and the North Leitrim Women’s Centre’s ‘Leitrim Women through Time’ project.
The aim of the scheme is to enable communities and heritage non-governmental organisations to continue their work on current projects or start new initiatives.
A broad range of project types are available under the scheme including:
The minimum grant that can be requested through the scheme is €500 and the maximum is €2,500.
The closing date for application is Friday, March 14 at 11am.
Applications must be submitted through the Heritage Council’s online grant management system, and funded projects must be completed by November 14, 2025.
