There were jubilant scenes in Dovida’s Sligo/Leitrim/Roscommon office this week as staff celebrated winning not one, but two, prestigious awards at the fourth Annual Home and Community Ireland (HCCI) Home Care Awards.

Dovida Sligo/Leitrim/Roscommon General Manager, Bridget McGrath, scooped the Manager of the Year award, while Scheduling Lead, Michaela Byrne, won Scheduler of the Year.

Manager of the Year is a title bestowed upon someone who works tirelessly to maintain staff morale, shows vision in developing person-centred care, and supports colleagues to meet the ever-changing needs of the business.

The Scheduler of the Year award is presented to an outstanding staff member who is indispensable to the scheduling and coordination of caregivers and their clients.

“Bridget’s journey from frontline caregiver to General Manager is nothing short of inspirational,” Shane Jennings, CEO of Dovida Ireland, said.
