There are over 450 customers without power in Leitrim, according to the ESB PowerCheck, as Storm Bram continues, with additional outages expected as the evening progresses.
Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange wind warning for all of Connacht, in effect from 11am this morning until 7pm tonight, while a Status Yellow wind warning remains in place nationwide until 9pm this evening.
The ESB has reported outages across several parts of Leitrim, including the Mohill area, the Manorhamilton area, and the Keshcarrigan area, along with further power losses in Longford and Sligo.
Repairs for the affected faults are estimated to be completed by 10pm tonight.
Across the country, more than 54,000 homes, businesses, and farms are currently without power, with Cork, Wexford, Tipperary, and Kildare among the hardest-hit counties.
