Tributes have poured in after the death of Muriel Abbott, Springfield House, Mohill, Co. Leitrim on Saturday December 20th, suddenly but peacefully at her home.

Muriel Abbott, Springfield House, Mohill, Co. Leitrim passed away on Saturday

Tributes have poured in after the death of Muriel Abbott, Springfield House, Mohill, Co. Leitrim on Saturday December 20th, suddenly but peacefully at her home.

One messaged of condolence read: "Muriel was a lady, a very friendly person and I enjoyed meeting her and having a chat.
Over the years her commitment and dedication to St Mary’s Church, Mohill was remarkable. She was always there to work at & support any occasion in the church and carried it all out with perfection. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her."

 

Murieal was beloved youngest daughter of the late John and Rita. Dearly loved sister of Joan (Regan), Vera (Fleming), Aideen (Huston) and brother Ivan.

Muriel will be missed by her much loved nieces and nephews - Emma, Robin, Rebecca, Jennifer, Richard, Hazel and Louise, her brothers-in-law - Noel, William and Ivan, her adored grandnieces and grandnephews, her cousins, and many friends and work colleagues in Supervalu, Longford.

 

Muriel will repose in St Mary's Parish Church, Mohill on Monday 22nd December from 5pm to 8pm.

 

Funeral Service on Tuesday 23rd December at 1pm in St Mary's Church followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery.

 

House private please. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to The Irish Heart Foundation.
