Since its launch in late 2024, Fair Fashion has worked to equip educators, students, and industry stakeholders with practical tools, innovative learning formats, and strategic collaborations that address pressing environmental and technological challenges in the fashion industry.
Responding to the urgent need for green and digital skills in fashion and textiles, Fair Fashion has developed and released multiple core resources: a comprehensive toolkit and case studies collection that offers real-world strategies for integrating sustainability and digital approaches into higher education curricula.

These resources provide lecturers and educators with practical frameworks to enhance classroom instruction, incorporating emerging technologies, from 3D design and digital sampling to sustainable business methodologies. These frameworks ensure that students are equipped for the evolving demands of the industry.
Currently boot camps are being rolled out, designed to merge the disciplines of fashion and textiles with technology, environmental science, and business management. They will serve as a platform for problem-based learning experiences, where students—especially women— and experienced entrepreneurs come together to tackle real-world challenges.
The boot camps aim to provide participants with a deep understanding of the principles, challenges, and solutions associated with the green and digital transitions in the fashion industry. Through collaborative learning involving HEIs and SMEs/STARTUPS, the boot camps offer practical exposure to technological advancements like 3D printing, virtual reality (VR) for design, and blockchain for supply chain management.
They will be followed by a Mentorship Programme, which connects female students with experienced women entrepreneurs driving inclusive leadership and expanding professional opportunities for future changemakers across Europe.
The Fair Fashion project consortium brings together universities, technical institutes, and innovation hubs across Europe, reflecting a truly collaborative effort to reshape fashion education. Partners contribute key expertise ranging from textile technology and entrepreneurship to digital pedagogy and curriculum innovation.
