Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens have appointed Mohamed Aly as the new general manager of the historic Leitrim hotel.

The appointment comes at a pivotal moment as the significant expansion of the Mohill hotel over the last year continues.

Aly, formerly a part of the Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa, a sister hotel in The Hanly Castle Hotel Group, brings over 10 years of hospitality expertise and a fresh perspective to this prestigious role.

The development, which will bring the total number of rooms on the estate to 95, is designed to meet increasing demand from visitors to the area, including both corporate and leisure guests.

Plans also include a Wellness Centre featuring indoor and outdoor pools, a new entrance and lobby, lounges, glazed walkways, and a library bar.

The project is expected to create around 140 new jobs and will coincide with the refurbishment of the hotel’s existing bedrooms and suites.
