Major housing development gets green light in Leitrim town

A 12-house developemnt has been granted conditional planning permission by Leitrim County Council

Leitrim County Council have granted conditional planning permission for the construction of 12 new houses in Carrick-on-Shannon

The development will be located in Attirory just outside of Carrick-on-Shannon town and will consist of four four-bedroom semi-detached dwellings and eight three-bedroom semi-detached dwellings.

The permission also includes the creation of public open spaces, new site access, car parking, and internal roads

The works also include relevant site development works, utility works, sewage and surface water drainage, utility works.

Permission was granted, though conditionally, with twenty conditions outlined.
