Kiltubrid Pipe Band to lead this year's Mohill parade

Parade starts at 4pm

Kiltubrid Pipe Band to lead this year's Mohill parade

All roads lead to Mohill on Sunday for one of the biggest St Patrick’s Day parades in the county which kicks off at 4pm.

This year's parade grand marshal is Mohill’s own Mr Gerry Murphy from Boeshill.

The Kiltubrid Pipe Band who are celebrating 70 years this year will be leading the parade. We are hoping to have a few Leitrim county players in the parade too.

All floats assemble at Baxter’s Centra on the Cloone road for 3.45pm sharp.

RTE will be in town for the parade and the organiser ask as many people to come out and support the parade. All entries are free. Any further queries contact parade co-ordinator on 087 8121441.

Meanwhile, a St Patrick’s Day event will take place in Mohill Family Support Centre on Sunday from 4.30pm to 7pm (directly after the St Patrick’s Day parade in Mohill).

There will be music, dancing, food and entertainment in the centre for the whole family. This is a free event and it is funded through the North West Drug and Alcohol Task Force.

For more information on the event please call the Centre on 071 9631253.

Calling all youth musicians / performers! Are you interested in performing at the St Patrick’s Day event in Mohill Family Support Centre on March 17? Singing, dancing, playing an instrument, etc. Call 071 9631253 for more information.
