Lotto player unaware of massive €260k win – Have you checked your ticket?

The National Lottery is making a desperate appeal to Lotto players in Laois, urging them to check their tickets from the draw on November 25, 2023, as an astonishing €263,058 prize remains unclaimed.

The fortunate winner matched five numbers and the bonus, securing their windfall with a Quick Pick ticket purchased on the day of the draw at the Maxol service station on the Dublin Road in Portarlington.

The winning numbers for the November 25 draw were 13, 17, 21, 22, 37, 42, and the bonus number was 2. With a 90-day window for prize claims, the deadline for this Match 5 + Bonus prize is looming, closing at the end of business on Friday, February 23.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery issued a fervent plea to Lotto players in the Portarlington area, urging them to thoroughly search for their tickets to ensure the rightful winner does not miss out on the substantial €263,058 prize.

"With just under four weeks to go until the claim deadline, we are encouraging all of our players who may have purchased their tickets at that service station to start looking all over the house and in the old winter coat pockets to see if there’s a ticket there from that Saturday night draw.

"There could be a player out there unaware that they are due a visit to Lotto HQ in the very near future to claim an incredible amount."

The spokesperson advised the winner, once found, to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should then make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.
