Oasis have touched down in Dublin ahead of Croke Park gigs but where are they staying?

A Ballsbridge luxury resort is heavily rumoured to be hosting the music giants

Oasis touched down on Irish soil on Wednesday ahead of their two sold out gigs in Croke Park this weekend.

Their guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs confirmed their arrival posting a picture on Instagram of the Irish coastline captioned 'bring on the noise' to Irish fans ahead of the eagerly anticipated concerts.

Saturday's concert will be the first Irish gig for the iconic Manchester band since playing Slane Castle in the summer of 2009, shortly before their infamous fallout. The brothers have strong links with the country with both of their parents being Irish hailing from Mayo and Meath.

The Dublin shows of the reunion tour will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday which will see the band spend a considerable amount of time in the capital.

Rumours have been circulating as to where they will be staying during their time in Ireland. The five-star hotel 'The Intercontinental in Ballsbridge is being heavily tipped as one venue which could be hosting the band. The hotel is no stranger to hosting music royalty with Adele, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey all on their list of former guests.

The two-acre property's premium suites coincidentally come in around the same price as an Oasis resale ticket starting from €609. The hotel boasts that it's Dublin's only true five star urban resort with a blend of traditional luxury and old school glamour.

The luxury hotel homes 215 rooms with 5 restaurants and bars and an award winning spa in Dublin's prestigious Ballsbridge neighbourhood. It wouldn't be the first time the resort has welcomed a Gallagher brother after Noel done his press interviews promoting a new 'High Flying Birds' album in a luxury suite back in 2023.

It isn't the first time major music stars choice of accommodation in Ireland has been a topic of discussion. Taylor Swift deciding to stay in a 200-year old coach house in Ranelagh, Dublin 6 or Beyonce taking the penthouse suite of the Fitzwilliam Hotel also making headlines.

Other hotels that have been mentioned as possible destinations for Oasis are the Merrion Hotel and the Shelbourne hotel with both sitting in the Dublin's city centre.

The Merrion Hotel class themselves as a marriage of exquisite comfort, relaxed elegance and advanced guest facilities including a spa and gym as well as their 142 rooms and suites.

A restaurant with 2 Michelin stars, infinity pools and Italian marble floors are just some of the other highlights of the five star experience in the Merrion hotel. Music guests such as Bruce Springsteen, Garth Brooks and Rihanna have all stayed in the luxury accommodation.

The final hotel where Oasis may reportedly be spending their nights throughout the duration of their time in Ireland is the Shelbourne hotel just off Stephens Green in Dublin's vibrant city centre.

The 200-year old historic luxury hotel lies in the midst of Dublin's most popular cultural and historical sites. Amenities include a spa, beauty salon, barbershop, health club with a swimming pool as part of the 265 room and 19 suite capacity hotel. Suites range from anywhere between €600 to over €2,000 a night.

Celebrity guests to have stayed in the distinguished hotel include The Rolling Stones, John F. Kennedy and Grace Kelly. Oasis will have no shortage of luxury options for their stay in the capital over the weekend.

Regardless of the hotel Oasis decide on to lay their head, one thing during their stay is guaranteed which will be a raucous Irish crowd over two nights in the country's largest venue to welcome them back following a sixteen year wait.
