Ballinamore Festival is back: Seven days of music, fun and good craic

One of the only remaining week-long festivals, Ballinamore Family Festival 2023 returns to Ballinamore between 13-20 August 2023.

The Festival has been running for over 50 years and is famous for its open air concerts, jam packed days of activities for children and great music line up, this year including Robert Mizzel, The Tumbling Paddies and Patrick Feeney.

It is eight days of free entertainment among live music, art, GAA, soccer, swimming, funfair, singing, hiking and lots more.

Country music star Patrick Feeney will open the event at the Platform from 3pm on August 13, followed by Big Generator, a five-piece band based in the West of Ireland.

In addition to the live music entertainment, Ballinamore Festival 2023 will feature Art Exhibition, Sports and Water activities, and lots more.

This year's Festival is promoting a daily competition, ‘Hunt a Duck' around town. Johnny Brady will pick The winners on Sunday, August 20.

Ballinamore Family Festival 2023 is an event in partnership with Leitrim County Council, Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.
