Leitrim County Council seeks tenders for a rural women's program, focusing on agriculture, business, and cross-border connections.
The tender deadline for the Leitrim PEACEPLUS programme on the role of women in rural Ireland and agriculture is February 24, according to Leitrim County Council.
The programme was established to explore the role of women in rural Ireland, particularly in agriculture, small businesses, and community development. It aims to foster new connections between women's groups in Leitrim and across the border, examining shared challenges and differences.
Leitrim County Council has invited interested parties to submit tenders by 4 p.m. on February 14.
The public contract is funded by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and will run for 24 months.
The PEACEPLUS action plan was created to promote peace in the region by addressing the historical lack of investment caused by conflict and strife in the border areas.
