Ahead of this weekend's historic first-ever regular-season NFL fixture in Ireland, American Football fans from overseas have been sampling some Irish hospitality.

More than 30,000 fans from the United States and across Europe are expected to attend Sunday's fixture between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park.

A large media contingent has also travelled from the United States including NFL Network presenter and sideline reporter Jamie Erdahl.

As part of the network's build-up to the historic fixture, she has been broadcasting live from Dublin throughout the week, meeting Irish fans and showcasing what the capital has to offer.

During one live broadcast on Good Morning Football, Jamie attempted to 'split the G' as she tasted Guinness for the first time and the outcome was hilarious.

Sunday's match kicks off at 2.30pm (Irish time) and will be broadcast on free-to-air TV in Ireland on Virgin Media One and across the United States on NFL Network.

Around 76,000 fans will attend the fixture at Croke Park which will look a lot different than usual, as it has undergone a major transformation in recent weeks.

New electronic scoreboards and sideline hoardings have been installed at the stadium while thousands of temporary seats have been installed on Hill 16.
