Brigid Annie Bohan recently celebrated her 100th birthday with family, relatives, friends and her Drumgownagh neighbours with a party at Arus Carolan in Mohill. Co Leitrim. It was a well deserved celebration of a life well lived.

Fr John Quinn and Fr. Nigel Charles concelebrated a lovely mass to mark this important milestone on her journey in life. She received many well wishes including a special birthday card from President Michael D. Higgins. The Centenarian Bounty, which is a gift from the State, was presented to Brigid Annie by her cousin, Martin Kenny T.D.
Brigid Annie is a very pleasant person who always greets us with a smile. Her zest for life is an inspiration to all of us who are fortunate enough to know her.
Her family and friends wished a very happy birthday, filled with love and laughter and the she may look forward to many years of sunshine, joy and happiness
Thanks for all the nice memories and we look forward to many more, they added.
