Across Connacht today, any mist and fog will clear, giving way to a mostly dry day with bright or even sunny spells. A few isolated showers may affect coastal areas. Highest afternoon temperatures will range from 6 to 10 degrees, with mostly light south-westerly or variable breezes.

It will be a chilly night, largely dry with long clear spells. A few isolated coastal showers are possible. A touch of frost may develop, with lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees. Some mist and fog patches may also form, with light southerly or variable breezes.

Nationally, it will be generally dry with a mix of cloudy periods and sunny spells, the best of which will be over the western half of the country. A few isolated showers may affect Atlantic coastal areas at times. Highs of 7 to 10 degrees, with light westerly breezes, a little fresher in the west.
