Thursday 15th:

  • Sing for Simon with musicians from Drumshanbo School of Traditional Music at the Market Yard, Carrick-on-Shannon from 11am to 1pm all in aid of North West Simon Community.  Also there 

Friday 16th:

  • Christmas Social in Kinlough for senior citizens and retired people from 10am to 2pm in Church of Ireland Hall, Main St., Kinlough. 

  • Tarmon NS Nativity Play in St Patrick’s Church at 12 noon. Tickets available locally. Following the play there will be a Cake Sale and a Sale of Work at 1.30pm in the school. 

  • Christmas Jumper theme for a Disco in the Canon Donohoe Hall, Mohill from 7pm to 8.30pm. Open to all young people.

  • Lurganboy Carol singing in Lurganboy Chapel of Ease at 7.30pm.

  • Drumkeerin Youth Club will present Christmas Carols around the Christmas Tree at 8pm. Hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies in the old Courthouse afterwards. All are very welcome.

  • Christmas Carol Service in St Mary’s Church, Lower Main St, Mohill at 8pm, with participation of the schoolchildren of the Hunt National School. All welcome.

  • Melvin Gaels  presentation night in Kinlough Community Centre at 8pm.

  • Dance in Duignan’s Lounge Drumsna with music by Sean Brennan

Saturday 17th:

  • Carrick’s Christmas Village contintues on Saturday and Sunday 17th and 18th. Charlene Mulligan’s Hip Hop Dance Troupe will perform live at 3pm, followed by Christmas Carols at 4pm on Saturday.

  • Manorhamilton Christmas Tree Festival in the Bee Park Manorhamilton from 3-9pm. The Gospel Choir will perform from 5pm. Colouring enteries for the festival can be submitted to the Bee Park post box.

  • Christmas Cake sale by Aughawillan Ladies after mass in Aughawillan.

  • Christmas Fundraising Draw for St Ciaran’s Services, Carrick-on-Shannon and Caring for Conor fund in Berry’s Tavern Drumshanbo at 9pm.

Sunday 18th:

  • St Joseph’s Ladies Football Club is holding their Christmas Cake Sale at 11.30am in Carrigallen Community Centre.

  • Manorhamilton Christmas Tree Festival in the Bee Park Manorhamilton from  12 noon to 6pm.

  • Santa will be visiting Gorvagh Community Centre at 3pm and Eslin Community Centre at 6pm.

  • Carol service will take place in St. Brigid's Church of Ireland, Kiltubrid on at 4pm. Refreshments afterwards, all welcome.

  • Fundraising card game in memory of Jimmy McManus in the Kilbrackan Arms Hotel at 5pm.

  • Card game  for St Vincent De Paul Manorhamilton and Kinlough in the Community Centre Manorhamiton at 9pm. Organised by the North Leitrim’s Mens Group.

  • Old Tyme Dance with music by The Country Cousins from 9pm in the Ballroom of Romance, glenfarne
