Killeshandra Drama Group are currently preparing to go on stage in the Cornmill Theatre with Joe McManus' new play 'Tumbleweed City' this weekend.
Joe McManus previous successes include 'A Night at the Mart' and 'Lies'. Tumbleweed City's debut was last weekend in Killeshandra Community Hall and it went down a treat.
This play takes a glimpse of small town Ireland during two periods in its recent past. The action unfolds in the Keenlara arms where the locals spend their time righting the wrongs of the world and passing the time. What is in store 25 years later for our characters? love, laughter, happiness or regret? This play has all the ingredients. Sit back and watch the story unfold.
The play is directed by Donna Harten and performs in Carrigallen's Corn Mill Theatre this Friday, saturday and Sunday, May 4,5 and 6 at 8.30pm.
