Creative Youth Exchange at The Dock

Creative Youth Exchange at the Dock

The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon would like to invite young people to join their new program for visual art, performance and music, supported under Creative Ireland Open Call Programme through Leitrim County Council.
 
The Creative Youth Exchange is a platform to explore and participate in a wide range of art forms. With this program we hope to share ideas exchange skills and creativity through workshops with artist and musicians and mentoring sessions with
performance and technical professionals.

This program is open to anyone between the ages of 13 and 20 years and runs every Friday afternoon from 4.30 – 6 starting in November 2018 through to February 2019.
 
It is hoped this project can become a regular exchange and youth base for participants who would like to investigate all form of arts practices including visual arts, theatre, music, literature, design and multi-media technologies and many more.  Using these forms, together we will design and complete a range of projects, which will be presented at The Dock in the form of an exhibition, performances or screenings.
