The Leagues are winding to a close, but if this weekend's last-minute drama is anything to go by, you can’t take your eyes off them for a second.

The top of the Division 1 table is tightly poised heading into the weekend that sees Fenagh, St Mary’s Kiltoghert, Ballinamore Sean O’Heslin’s and Fenagh St Caillins all within two points of each other at the top. With games in the final round worth three points for a win, it is still all to play for.

St Mary’s will feel they are in a great position to defend their Division 1 crown if they can make it to the final. They will be confident that they can get over their final Hurdle this weekend against Aughawillian as second from top plays second from bottom.

Fenagh St Caillins, who are tied with Ballinamore on thirteen points, will be less assured of making a final this time around as they will be watching results elsewhere next Saturday evening when they meet bottom of the table Aughavas.

Last year’s defeated finalists Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins will be looking to beat Allen Gaels in Drumshanbo to keep their hopes of reaching the final alive.

Fenagh, St Mary’s Kiltoghert, Ballinamore Sean O’Heslin’s and Fenagh St Caillins will all be hoping that fifth-place Mohill can go to leaders Leitrim Gaels and cause the Leitrim Senior Champions an upset on home turf and give themselves a chance of making the final. Meanwhile, Aughavas and Aughawillian are firmly in the relegation zone and will join the Division Two League next year.

Glencar-Manohamilton’s demolition of St Patrick’s Dromahair last weekend has left them in a good position to make the Division Two final and earn promotion back to Division One if they can beat their neighbours, Melvin Gaels, in Melvin Park.

Again, the table is tight at the top with Glencar-Monor just a point behind second-place Kiltubrid, who trail top dogs Gortletteragh by just a point. Glencar-Manorhamilton will be hoping for a Gortletteragh slip against a formidable Annaduff side they will meet in Annaduff, while Kiltubrid will be looking to secure their place in the final by dealing out another beating to a St Patrick’s Dromahair side that will be playing for pride when they welcome Kiltubrid to St Osnat’s.

St Patrick’s Dromahair are effectively relegated, while bottom-place Eslin's relegation to Division 3 is confirmed.

We are set for an Aughnasheelin and Bornacoola final in Division 3. The Bores are earning their way back into a promotion place and into the final with a stellar victory over third-place Carrigallen at Kilglass Gaels GAA Field last weekend. It was a remarkable tight end to the league with the Bors just squeezing into the final past Carrigallen with one point of score difference separating the teams.

Mohill and St Mary’s Kiltoghert’s second teams will face off against one another in the Reserve League Division 1 final this Sunday at 1pm in Leitirm Village. Meanwhile, St Patrick Dromahair and Carrigallen have been relegated to Division 2.
