Martin Kenny (SF) has been re-elected to the Dáil taking the second seat in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency on the 12th count.
Chris MacManus' distributed votes helped Kenny exceed the quota of 11,381 by 4,052 votes.
Kenny's surplus of 4,052 will be distributed between Marian Harkin (IND), Michael Clarke (II), and Eamon Scanlon (FF) on the next count.
Eamon Scanlon appears to be safe for a seat. The real battle will be between Harkin and Clarke.
Harkin is ahead of Clarke by 511 votes, but she will need a difference of 860 votes in count 13 to deem her re-elected.
It is expected that all four seats will be filled in count 13.
Below are votes per candidate following count 12:
Martin Kenny (+5212) - 15,433 (Elected)
Michael Clarke (+349) - 8,318
