Love Leitrim seek public's help in 'Better Together' competition

The Love Leitrim group are seeking the help of the Leitrim public in the 'Better Together' video story competition.

The Better Together Video Story Competition is an opportunity for Irish community and voluntary organisations, NGOs & clubs to showcase their work, demonstrate transparency and recruit new supporters.

The organisers are giving away six €1,000 cash prizes and six fabulous technology prizes, including Adobe Elements & Elements Premiere photo and video editing software bundles and access to Adobe’s industry-leading creativity software for a full year!

Voting remains open until December 8. Members of the public will be able to vote once every 24-hours for their favourite videos. Once voting ends, five videos will then be shortlisted in each category and a panel of independent judges will select one winner in each of the six categories.

Love Leitrim is a community organisaton set up in 2011, with a national brief. Love Leitrim has been instrumental in projects raising public awareness, and advocating about the environmental risks of fossil fuel exploration and extraction, particularly the process known as fracking. It has also been engaged in promoting positive aspects of our area through supporting tourism projects as well as spearheading a renewable energy project in our locality.
